We are proud to be a company with over 50 years of heritage, specializing in timeless, high-end yet accessible luxury furniture. ALEAL was founded by Zeferino Leal and is currently led by his daughters, Daniela and Sandra Leal. We are driven by a deep passion for interior design and offer an extensive range of furniture solutions to suit every vision for a dream home. Our work is represented not only through leading multi-brand dealers, but also through custom-made furniture projects in collaboration with interior design studios, exclusive design boutiques, architects, and as a contract FF&E partner.

In 2025, ALEAL marked 50 years of activity — five decades of continuity, consistency, and evolution. Now led by the second generation, Daniela and Sandra Leal, the company keeps the founding legacy alive while embracing a contemporary vision focused on design, detail, and the demands of today's projects.

Growing up within the company allowed them to develop a deep understanding of processes, materials, and the importance of close relationships with clients and designers.

Our factory in Vandoma, Paredes — in the heart of Portugal's furniture-making region — is where craftsmanship meets technology. Every ALEAL piece begins and ends here, under the careful supervision of our skilled team.

Using state-of-the-art manufacturing technology alongside traditional woodworking techniques, we take the highest quality woods, metals, glass, lacquers, leathers and fabrics and transform them into pieces built to last a lifetime.
